A word from Diane
The design, as fine as an antique fashion engraving, depicts a milliner surrounded by a waltz of period bonnets, capotes and headdresses, with incredibly fine detail. On this cream ground with a marron glacé border, the touches of blue, pink and parma violet in the hats bring infinite softness. The profusion of flying hats gives the whole an incredible sense of movement.
